Private professional suburban family of Chicago is seeking an experienced, trained, organized and detail oriented full-time house keeper.This is a long-term live-out oppurtunity. This individual must be a highly skilled professional with an eye for detail. We are looking for an excellent trustworthy competent and capable hands-on housekeeper. You must have a discerning and highly capable capacity to work on your own and within a team. Experience with museum quality cleaning and care for: antiques, silver, fine art, etc. Is a plus! Organizing closets and storage spaces, stocking supplies, and polishing all surfaces , cleaning pantry, fridge, windows and all aspects of fine-tuning a home is expected. You must be active, and able to move about the home with ease and agility. Exceptional organization skills and multitasking ability is a plus! We are seeking an individual that is exceptionally focus on their resposibilities , a team player, with an above and beyond attitude. This is a full-time live-out position. The normal schedule is Monday-Friday. Daily Responsibilities: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing all surfaces fixtures, and furniture. clean all household appliances in accordance with the house managers manual. washing, folding, and putting away family members laundry, and ironing as needed/requested. maintaining tidy and oderly closets throughout residence. providing assistance with packing and unpacking for travel. interfacing with vendors, repairmen, and guests. accepting packages and deliveries, answering phones, and opening doors. procurement and maintence of household supplies including but not limited to groceries , stock levels, cleaning supplies etc. running family errands monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacement. willingness and ability to work closely with the other domestic stuff to coordinate and complete all households tasks. maintaning records of items sent out for dry cleaning and put away when returned. outdated food, wiping down all surfaces of fridges and freezer on a weekly basis, and cleaning condiments bottles to eliminate spills, and stickiness. deep seasonal cleaning and organization special projects as needed. keep home straightened and organized, including washing dishes, loading/unloading dishwasher, taking out garbage, light tidying etc. on a dasily basis and continually living areas until workday end. Job Requirement: valid state of illinois drivers license. must pass background check. maintain updated first aid and cpr certification employer to reinburse employee for recertification classes as needed. legally able to work in the U.S fluent in ENGLISH with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. minimum 3-5 years of related professional experience working in a private home as a house keeper. excellent references required.
